- Following individualized care plans and completing daily tasks via EVV or electronic timesheets.
- Assisting with personal hygiene, grooming, ambulation, meal preparation (including special diets), feeding, and the use of mobility equipment.
- Maintaining a safe, clean environment and adhering to infection control and safety protocols.
- Encouraging clients' self-help and independence while respecting their privacy and limitations.
- Notifying supervisors of any changes in client condition, safety concerns, or potential abuse or neglect.
- Supporting secondary tasks such as laundry, cleaning, and grocery shopping as needed.
- Providing quality care within the scope of practice, avoiding tasks not outlined in the care plan, and seeking guidance when necessary.
- High school diploma or ability to read/write preferred.
- At least 6 months of verifiable caregiving experience.
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Ability to perform personal care, assist with transfers, and utilize mobility aids.
- Strong understanding of safety, infection control, and confidentiality protocols.
