- Following individualized aide plans and completing daily tasks via EVV or electronic timesheets.
- Assisting clients with self-help activities and providing basic personal care such as bathing, grooming, ambulation, and meal preparation, including attention to special diets.
- Utilizing safety precautions, infection control procedures, and proper equipment like walkers and wheelchairs.
- Performing secondary tasks such as laundry, cleaning, grocery shopping, and meal prep as needed.
- Maintaining a clean, safe environment and reporting any hazards or changes in client condition.
- Respecting client confidentiality, privacy, and rights, ensuring quality care within scope of practice.
- Assisting with medication self-administration and reporting any abuse, neglect, or unsafe conditions.
- High school diploma preferred; ability to read and write required.
- Minimum 6 months of validated caregiving experience.
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Strong communication, attention to safety, and ability to work independently.
