Position Overview
As a Bilingual Recruiter at MEI Group, you will be responsible for sourcing, screening, and hiring top talent to meet the company’s current and future workforce needs. You will partner with hiring managers to ensure the recruitment process is efficient, compliant, and provides an excellent candidate experience. This role requires a high-volume recruiting background, strong organizational skills, and knowledge of labor legislation.
Key Responsibilities

Develop and monitor best practices for writing job postings to ensure optimal placement on job boards

Partner with hiring managers to define job requirements and establish requisition parameters

Build and manage a pipeline of potential candidates for current and future openings

Post and update all external job postings through the Applicant Tracking System (ATS)

Track and update candidate status in ATS, communicating regularly with candidates throughout the hiring process

Optimize the candidate experience to ensure a professional and efficient hiring process

Source and screen candidates daily using job boards, social media, and referral networks

Coordinate pre-employment screenings, including background checks, drug tests, and motor vehicle record verifications

Communicate applicant status with managers and other stakeholders

Onboard new hires, including setting start dates, preparing training schedules, and completing new hire paperwork

Manage pre-boarding compliance, including I-9s and government reporting

Generate reports related to recruitment metrics, such as Time to Fill and Sourcing ROI

Participate in recruitment events, career fairs, and other special projects as assigned
Qualifications
-
4 years of direct recruitment experience (Automotive/Collections industry experience preferred)

Bachelor’s Degree required

Experience with PAYCOM preferred

Excellent communication and project management skills

Strong proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

Ability to pass a background check and possess a valid driver’s license

Bilingual in English and Spanish
