Position Overview
As a Recovery Agent / Repossession Driver, you will be responsible for recovering vehicles for MEI Auto Finance in a safe, professional, and timely manner. You will work directly with the lender, utilizing online recovery tools and databases to locate and recover vehicles internally—no outside repossessions. This role requires independence, attention to detail, and the ability to handle non-traditional work hours.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive recovery assignments and follow directives from Managers and supervisors

• Initiate and execute the recovery of vehicles using various online databases (e.g., RDN Recovery Database Network, Clearplan)

• Maintain consistent communication and provide updates via phone, email, and database

• Complete condition reports, take photos, and send documentation as required

• Record and maintain paysheet updates accurately

• Adhere to MEI policies and all TDLR rules and safety regulations

• Perform other duties as assigned by management

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–5 years of repo and snatch truck experience

• Good communication skills and ability to remain calm under pressure

• General understanding of automobile mechanics

• Strong computer literacy and ability to learn new software quickly

• Career-minded, able to work independently without constant supervision

Requirements

• Valid Texas Driver License and TDLR license; must meet MEI insurability standards

• Must be at least 24 years of age for insurance purposes

• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs

• Availability to work non-traditional hours, including evenings, weekends, and alternating shifts

• Background check and eligibility to work in the U.S.

Compensation & Schedule

• Salary: (100% commission)

• Work Hours: Minimum of 50 hours per week; 10-hour shifts, Monday–Friday

• Location: Arlington, TX – In person
