Position Overview
As a Collections Supervisor – Corporate – Call Center, you will oversee daily operations on the collections floor by guiding, training, and supporting your team. You’ll handle escalated customer calls, monitor performance, and ensure that team goals are met in a fast-paced, compliance-driven environment. This role requires strong leadership, attention to detail, and the ability to thrive under pressure.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle escalated customer calls professionally and effectively
- Maintain accurate collection notes and records on past-due accounts
- Supervise and provide ongoing training and support to collections and customer service agents
- Use internal collections systems and vendor platforms to manage account activity
- Coordinate daily supervisor duties and assist in managing the call center schedule
- Evaluate, monitor, and coach team members to meet and exceed performance expectations
- Communicate clearly and professionally with internal teams and consumers
- Perform other related duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of supervisory experience in a call center or branch environment
- Auto collections experience strongly preferred
- Proficient knowledge of the Federal Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Effective multitasking and problem-solving skills under pressure
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
- Goal-driven, dependable, and adaptable to shifting priorities
- Must meet daily, weekly, and monthly performance goals
- Ability to provide constructive feedback and performance coaching
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Ability to work a rotating shift, including weekends and occasional overtime
- Must be punctual and dependable
- Must pass a background check and be eligible to work in the U.S.
Compensation & Schedule
Salary: $55,000–$65,000 annually (depending on experience)
Incentives: Eligible for weekly performance-based bonuses
Schedule:
- Monday – Thursday: 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM
- Friday: 8:00 AM – 7:00 PM
- Saturday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (every other Saturday required)
