Overview
The Meeder Funds & Portfolios Intern will gain hands-on experience by supporting the investment team in various aspects of the investment management and consulting process. This internship provides invaluable exposure to investment research, portfolio management, quantitative investment models, trading and client advisory services, all while working alongside seasoned professionals in the industry.
As an integral part of the Funds & Portfolio's investment team, the intern will assist with market research, data & systems analysis, performance reporting, and portfolio analysis, gaining practical insight into the management of customized funds and model portfolios.
This internship offers real-world experience in the investment decision-making process, equipping interns with valuable industry knowledge, mentorship, and hands-on projects. These experiences will serve as a strong foundation for a career in asset management, financial advisory, or investment consulting.

Position Requirements
Qualifications
- Strong time management, multitasking, and organizational skills
- Collaborative mindset with the ability to work across departments
- Critical attention to detail and strong analytical skills
- Knowledge of capital markets, including equity and fixed income is a plus.
- Strong interest in financial markets, portfolio management, and economic trends
- Effective with the Microsoft suite of products with intermediate to advanced Excel skills preferred, familiarity with investment research platforms a plus.
- Must be a recent college graduate or a rising Junior or Senior
- Desired major – Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics or related field
- Minimum GPA of 3.0
- Ability to independently secure housing
- Pay Rate: $18/hour
- Program Timing: June 1, 2026 – August 14, 2026. Upon request, Meeder may offer flexibility on start & end dates.

- Assets Under Advisement consist of $63.82 billion of regulatory assets under management for which Meeder Investment Management's registered investment adviser affiliates provide continuous and regular investment management services as disclosed in their Form ADV and non-discretionary assets as to which Meeder Public Funds provides strategic advice or consultation but does not have the authority to effectuate transactions as of December 31, 2024.
