The Director of Public Funds Operations is responsible for the daily business operations of Meeder Public Funds, including system operations, client reporting, client invoicing, and trade settlement processes. This role drives the ongoing advancement of the Public Funds operating model, with responsibility for managing and optimizing the technology infrastructure. This leader will be highly involved in the execution of new product initiatives and will serve as primary contact to internal key stakeholders on these initiatives. This role will assist the firm in achieving an appropriate balance of scaled growth, operational efficiency, and risk mitigation.

Primary Responsibilities
- Manage and coordinate the daily operations of Meeder Public Funds
- Serve as the primary contact to internal key stakeholders on change management and new product initiatives
- Stay informed of industry trends and systems and lead continued development of Public Funds operating model
- Manage system implementations/upgrades and maintenance of technology stack
- Cultivate the development of team members on the Public Funds operations and client reporting teams
- Work closely with key vendors to support Public Funds growth
- Provides effective leadership across portfolio, operations, distribution, and other cross-functional investment partners.
- Applies strong listening and analytical skills to identify client, advisor, and business needs and translate them into investment-related solutions.
- Leads complex investment, operational, or regulatory initiatives with strong project and change management discipline.
- Exhibits intellectual curiosity and stays current on markets, investment products, regulatory trends, and industry best practices.
- Effectively leads teams through evolving market conditions, business priorities, and technology platforms supporting investment functions.
- Communicates investment concepts and business insights clearly and credibly, both verbally and in writing.
- Actively supports the development and mentorship of investment and operations professionals.
- Operates with professionalism, accountability, and a high standard of integrity consistent with fiduciary responsibilities.
Position Requirements
Qualifications And Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or related degree.
- A minimum of 7-10 years’ progressive experience in investment management operations or related areas.
- A minimum of 5 years leadership experience, with prior experience as a people managers preferred.
- Demonstrated success in leading and developing people at varying stages in their careers.
