The Investment Operations Analyst will support the investment operations of the Funds and Portfolio’s investment team. Responsibilities of the position will be focused on oversight of the trade settlement and corporate actions process for the Funds, along with trading of model portfolios with various partners and platforms. The analyst will play a key role in the support of trading and portfolio management functions on the investment team’s order management software. The position will also support the scalability of Meeder’s Investment Consulting business line, including client deliverables, model trading, databases and workflows related to the management of investment portfolios.

Role Overview
The Investment Operations Analyst will support the investment operations of the Funds and Portfolio’s investment team. The analyst will play a key role in the support of trading and portfolio management functions on the investment team’s order management software. The position will also support the scalability of Meeder’s Investment Consulting business line, including client deliverables, model trading, databases and workflows related to the management of investment portfolios.
Primary Responsibilities
- Lead the trading of model portfolios on various custodial and third-party asset management platforms.
- Oversight of trade settlement & corporate actions process for Meeder Funds.
- Support the investment team on trading and/or portfolio management issues related to Charles River technology, including participation in addressing issues and system improvements.
- Become a subject matter expert of the broker dealers and platforms that Meeder’s portfolios are offered through, including asset reporting and participation in due diligence.
- Provide oversight of administration of Retirement Plan business.
- Support all operational functions of Meeder’s Investment Consulting business line, including the production of client deliverables, oversight and participation in model portfolio trading on broker dealers & platforms, and management of our portfolio database and workflows.
- Support the maintenance and creation of dashboards used by the Investment Team for customer relationship management, portfolio and fund due diligence.
- Participate in change management initiatives across Funds & Portfolios that include the implementation of new distribution partners/platforms, new technology, and changes to the business operating model.

- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or related degree.
- 2-5 years professional work experience; middle office or investment operations experience preferred.
- Advanced knowledge of MS Excel.
- Proficiency in SQL and/or Airtable a plus.
- Intermediate knowledge of Excel Power Query preferred.
- Intermediate knowledge of financial markets and related products preferred.
- Understanding of trade settlement process and DTCC a plus.
