About the Job
SOVRA is seeking an Account Manager (AM) to support the ARBuy Program in the State of Arkansas. This role will be central to building and strengthening partnerships with the State of Arkansas, Arkansas local governments, and related stakeholders.
The AM will combine expertise in public sector procurement, customer success, and strategic relationship management to ensure that Arkansas agencies, counties, cities, school districts, and other local entities fully leverage ARBuy and SOVRA eProcurement solutions. By driving adoption, ensuring user satisfaction, and increasing utilization of statewide and cooperative contracts, the AM will help maximize financial and operational benefits for public buyers and their suppliers.
This position requires a proactive, customer-focused approach to expanding the reach and impact of ARBuy and SOVRA products in Arkansas, coordinating closely with state leadership, local governments, and related stakeholders.
What will your primary Responsibilities look like?
- Establish productive, professional relationships with key State of Arkansas officials, local government stakeholders, and related organizations.
- Understand state and local procurement practices and promote the use of ARBuy to deliver value and savings.
- Manage initiatives to expand usage of the ARBUY platform and statewide contracts among Arkansas local governments.
- Serve as liaison between SOVRA, the State of Arkansas, and local governments to ensure alignment, collaboration, and program success.
- Collaborate with the State and internal SOVRA teams to design and implement initiatives that benefit state agencies, local governments, suppliers, and the company.
- Provide account management and customer success services for Arkansas local governments.
- Organize and coordinate training sessions when needed (delivered by dedicated trainers).
- Proactively assess, clarify, and validate customer needs on an ongoing basis.
- Evaluate and pursue opportunities to provide SOVRA products for sourcing, solicitation, and contract management to Arkansas local government entities.
- Maintain robust knowledge of the ARBuy solution (as implemented) and use this knowledge to expand and deepen adoption.
- Travel within Arkansas as necessary, with potential travel to other states as opportunities emerge.
- Explore opportunities outside of Arkansas when aligned with company growth strategy and strategic fit.
