You’ll work directly with supplier contacts to showcase new features, tools, and service packages that maximize their opportunities with government procurement. What will your main responsibilities look like?
In this role, you will be responsible for:
- Engaging with existing suppliers to understand their offerings, capabilities, and goals within the public sector.
- Presenting SOVRA’s platform features, tools, and tailored service packages to help suppliers maximize visibility and opportunities.
- Educating and guiding suppliers through onboarding, platform upgrades, and best practices to ensure successful adoption.
- Collaborating with Account Executives to align engagement strategies and achieve quarterly supplier activation and growth goals.
- Leveraging tools such as Salesforce, Gong, and others to manage supplier communications and track progress.
- Maintaining a consistent cadence of outreach via phone, email, and virtual meetings to drive engagement.
- Partnering with Marketing to refine messaging, campaigns, and initiatives to increase supplier participation.
- Gathering feedback from suppliers to inform future platform enhancements and service offerings.
What elements of your professional background will be necessary and useful in this role?
- Bachelor’s degree preferred (Business, Public Administration, Political Science, or related field).
- 0–2 years of experience in sales, customer service, or a client-facing role (internships and campus roles welcome).
- Strong communication skills and ability to build relationships with diverse stakeholders.
- Familiarity with CRM systems (Salesforce preferred) and sales enablement tools.
- Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and adaptable in a fast-paced environment.
- Passion for public sector innovation and technology.
