About the Role: As a Supplier Technical Engineer, you'll support resolving quality issues and improving processes for our supply chain. You'll work closely with suppliers to ensure high reliability and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide conclusions and recommendations for quality issues or continuous improvement projects.
- Participate in supplier quality initiatives; collaborate with suppliers to boost quality levels.
- Ensure supplier reliability through process controls, certifications, evaluations, inspections, corrective actions, audits, and record-keeping.
- Identify quality problems and create short- and long-term action plans with the team and suppliers.
- Use quality processes to qualify new products.
Required Skills and Experience Levels: All skills are at a "Working Knowledge " level—meaning practical, hands-on application in your role.
- Quality Management & Orientation: Use quality tools, indicators, and continuous improvement processes. Apply evaluation techniques like walkthroughs and inspections. Confront root causes, eliminate waste, and document learnings for better outcomes.
