About the Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented and efficient Warehouse Associate to contribute to our distribution operations. In this role, you will be responsible for the accurate handling, storage, and shipment of materials. Your expertise in inventory management and equipment operation will ensure the smooth flow of goods through our warehouse.
Responsibilities- Expedite the receiving process by unloading incoming deliveries and verifying contents against purchase orders.
- Minimize errors by carefully picking, packing, and labeling orders according to specifications.
- Maintain inventory accuracy through proper documentation, tagging, and storage of products in designated locations.
- Operate warehouse equipment, such as pallet jacks and forklifts, to move and organize materials safely and efficiently.
- Contribute to a safe working environment by adhering to company safety policies and OSHA regulations.
- Support inventory control efforts by assisting with cycle counts and resolving discrepancies.
- Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the warehouse to facilitate efficient operations.
Required Skills
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly.
- Solid math and reading skills for order processing and inventory management.
- Demonstrated attention to detail and accuracy in all warehouse tasks.
Preferred Skills
- Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment.
- Forklift certification or willingness to obtain certification.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) and handheld scanners.
