  • Evaluate return on investment (ROI) to identify opportunities for growth, efficiency improvements, and cost reductions.
  • Maintain detailed records, track project costs and schedules, identify potential risks, and provide regular progress updates to both plant and corporate leadership.
  • Research and develop thorough capital expense proposals, clearly outlining project scope, objectives, cost estimates, and timelines.
  • Design equipment and create necessary support devices, such as safety guards or auxiliary components.
  • Generate comprehensive reports documenting project activities, provide regular budget and schedule updates, and formally finalize completed projects.
  • Guarantee that all projects adhere to stringent safety, environmental, quality, and regulatory standards.
  • Champion and uphold high standards for safety, quality, and housekeeping, including strict adherence to HSE and 5S requirements to foster a safe working environment.
  • Provide guidance and coordination for project engineers, project technicians, and contractors as required to ensure project success.

Qualifications

  • 5 years of experience in the management of capital projects within a manufacturing or industrial setting.
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively manage multiple capital projects simultaneously, varying in size and complexity.
  • Proficiency in CAD/design, with the capability to develop and modify plant and equipment layouts (using AutoCAD or similar software).
  • Proven experience in collaborating with contractors, vendors, and engineering partners to achieve project goals.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with strong decision-making skills.
  • Outstanding written, verbal, and presentation skills to effectively communicate project details.
  • Competent in the use of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook for project documentation and communication.
  • Capable of working independently as the primary project manager on site.
