About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Industrial Maintenance Technician to ensure the reliability and efficiency of our industrial equipment. In this role, you will leverage your expertise in electrical systems, PLCs, and safety protocols to troubleshoot issues, perform preventative maintenance, and implement new installations. Your contributions will directly impact our operational success by minimizing downtime and maximizing productivity.
Responsibilities- Diagnose and repair electrical malfunctions in industrial machinery, including motors, drives, and control systems.
- Conduct routine maintenance on electrical and electronic equipment to prevent failures and extend equipment lifespan.
- Install new electrical systems and components, ensuring compliance with safety standards and regulations.
- Program, troubleshoot, and modify PLC systems (e.g., SLC 500, Controllogix) to optimize equipment performance.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and equipment performance.
- Adhere to all safety policies and procedures, including lockout/tagout, confined space entry, and fall protection.
Required Skills
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Demonstrated knowledge of OSHA 29CFR 1910 standards, including LOTO, confined space, and NFPA 70E.
- Proficiency in electrical troubleshooting, repair, and installation techniques.
Preferred Skills
- Advanced schooling or 5 years of verifiable industrial maintenance experience.
- Experience with variable frequency drives and process control loops.
- Ability to interpret electrical schematics and technical drawings.
