Maintenance Systems Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Specialist to ensure the smooth operation of our facility's equipment and systems. In this role, you will be pivotal in performing preventative maintenance, conducting repairs, and identifying the root causes of equipment malfunctions. Your expertise in mechanical and electrical systems will contribute directly to our production efficiency.

• Execute preventive maintenance schedules to minimize equipment downtime and maximize operational efficiency.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues on a wide range of production equipment.
• Install and relocate machinery to optimize production workflows.
• Maintain a clean and well-organized shop environment, ensuring proper inventory of parts and supplies.
• Utilize computer systems (Microsoft Office Suite, Indusoft, and SAP) to manage work orders, track parts, and document maintenance activities.
• Collaborate with outside contractors on special projects and equipment upgrades.
• Contribute to a safe working environment by adhering to safety standards and protocols.
• Document all maintenance activities accurately and promptly.

Required Skills

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and a proactive approach to learning.
• Proficiency in reading blueprints and schematics.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.

Preferred Skills

• Prior experience in industrial maintenance or electrical maintenance.
• Familiarity with hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• Welding, fabricating, plumbing, or pipefitting experience.
• Vocational or community college coursework in a related field.
