Precision Equipment Technician

As a Precision Equipment Technician, you will play a vital role in bringing industrial machinery to life by transforming raw components into high-performance cutting and sawing equipment. Your technical expertise in mechanical assembly and electrical systems ensures that every unit meets rigorous quality standards before reaching our customers.

• Execute complex assembly sequences for industrial saws and power equipment by interpreting blueprints and technical schematics.
• Utilize pneumatic and hand tools to perform precision tasks including torqueing, aligning, and wiring critical motor and transmission components.
• Validate the integrity of incoming parts, proactively identifying discrepancies to maintain high production standards.
• Conduct comprehensive functional testing and performance runs to guarantee equipment reliability and operational safety.
• Prepare finished products for distribution by managing final inspections, applying identification markings, and ensuring proper crating.
• Contribute to operational excellence by identifying opportunities to refine assembly workflows and improve production efficiency.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace, adhering to all ergonomic and safety protocols.

Required Skills

• 1-2 years of hands-on experience in mechanical or industrial assembly.
• Demonstrated ability to read and interpret technical blueprints and wiring diagrams.
• Proficiency with pneumatic tools and mechanical hand tools.
• Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve assembly issues.
• Capacity to perform physical tasks, including standing for extended periods and handling vibrating equipment.

Preferred Skills

• Prior experience in automotive repair or complex shop environments.
• Familiarity with electrical systems, including motor wiring and switchbox installation.
• Experience with quality control checklists and documentation processes.
