Are you a self-motivated and reliable individual with a knack for mechanical troubleshooting? We are seeking a skilled Utilities and Facilities Maintenance Specialist to maintain and optimize our plant operations. In this role, you will leverage your expertise in electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems to ensure the smooth functioning of our utilities and facilities equipment.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct reactive troubleshooting and system analysis to quickly identify and resolve equipment malfunctions, minimizing downtime.
- Perform electrical repairs and installations, including work on 480V 3-phase motors, motor starter circuits, and VFD drives, adhering to established safety guidelines.
- Maintain and repair mechanical equipment such as motors, conveyors, pumps, belts, and chains, ensuring optimal performance.
- Read and interpret electrical and mechanical schematics, using precision measuring tools and testing instruments to diagnose and repair equipment.
- Develop and implement preventive maintenance plans to extend the lifespan of equipment and reduce the risk of unexpected failures.
- Troubleshoot and maintain industrial automation equipment, including PLCs, servo motors, and related components.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies, promoting a safe working environment.
Qualifications
Required Skills
- 2 years of industrial maintenance experience with a focus on electrical and mechanical repairs.
- Strong knowledge of pneumatics, hydraulics, welding, and fabrication techniques.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting mechanical and electrical blueprints and schematics.
- Familiarity with AC and DC drives, PLCs, and motor control circuits.
Preferred Skills
- Current Boiler Operator Certification.
- Experience with PLC programming and troubleshooting.
- Experience with Freon refrigeration systems.
- Experience with injection molding and thermoforming equipment.
