Piping Assembler
Location: Tustin, CA
Pay: $29–$31/hr
Schedule: Full-time, onsite (overtime and Saturdays as needed)
We are looking for a dedicated Piping Assembler to aid in the construction and assembly of water and filtration system components. This position is a great fit for individuals possessing solid mechanical skills, experience in plumbing or piping, and a knack for electrical work.
Key Responsibilities
- Utilize hand tools and power tools to assemble filtration equipment and related components.
- Execute piping assembly, including plumbing-style connections and installations.
- Assemble and wire electrical control enclosures.
- Interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and schematics with precision.
- Adhere to detailed work instructions and safety guidelines to ensure a safe environment for all.
- Perform quality checks to guarantee products meet the required specifications.
- Manage parts inventory and ensure appropriate materials are readily available.
- Maintain a tidy and well-organized workspace in accordance with 5S standards.
- Work closely with team members to meet production demands.
- Handle any additional tasks assigned by supervisors.
Qualifications
- Possession of a High School Diploma or GED (or its equivalent).
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in electrical assembly.
- Demonstrated strong mechanical and electrical aptitude.
- Prior experience with water systems equipment, plumbing, or piping is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in interpreting technical schematics and drawings.
- Comfortable and capable of working in a manufacturing/production setting.
- Capable of lifting up to 40 lbs and standing for extended durations.
- Availability to work overtime, including Saturdays, is essential.
- Proficiency in reading, writing, and understanding English.
