Maintenance Technician

As a Maintenance Technician, you will be instrumental in ensuring the smooth operation of our plant by performing both routine and corrective maintenance on equipment, machinery, and facilities. The primary focus of this role involves troubleshooting, repairing, modifying, and maintaining mechanical and electrical systems, all within a dynamic manufacturing setting where safety and efficiency are paramount.

• Execute preventative and corrective maintenance tasks on production equipment and throughout the facility.

• Adhere to planned maintenance schedules and accurately complete assigned work orders.

• Lubricate machinery with grease and oil, and replace filters to ensure optimal performance.

• Conduct regular inspections of equipment and machinery to proactively identify potential problems and wear, preventing downtime.

• Maintain material handling equipment, including servicing lift trucks to ensure operational readiness.

• Perform essential building maintenance tasks, addressing lighting, doors, and other basic facility repairs.

• Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic malfunctions efficiently.

• Contribute to maximizing equipment uptime and overall production efficiency.

• Help maintain a safe, clean, and well-organized workspace for the entire team.

• Possession of a high school diploma or its equivalent.

• A minimum of 1–3 years of experience in maintenance or mechanical repair work.

• Demonstrated strong mechanical aptitude combined with effective troubleshooting capabilities.

• Capacity to perform effectively in a physically demanding, fast-paced manufacturing setting.

• Hands-on electrical experience, including the ability to interpret electrical schematics and perform basic building wiring tasks.

• Familiarity with hydraulic and pneumatic systems.

• Proficiency in welding techniques.

• Prior experience working with industrial or foundry equipment.

• Previous experience in servicing lift trucks or other mobile equipment.
