Maintenance Technician (Multicraft)

About the Role:
We are looking for a dedicated Maintenance Technician to thrive in a dynamic manufacturing setting. This is a varied role that calls for a blend of mechanical and electrical diagnostic abilities. The main focus of this role will be the upkeep, repair, and enhancement of production equipment, including CNC machinery and automated systems.
Compensation:
Pay is commensurate with experience and demonstrated skills, ranging from $23 to $35 per hour.
Our Expectations:
- Diagnose and repair CNC equipment, including mills and lathes.
- Maintain and provide support for PLC-controlled equipment (troubleshooting only; programming is not required).
- Carry out scheduled preventive maintenance on production equipment.
- Pinpoint problems in mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems.
- Interpret electrical schematics and technical drawings to facilitate repairs.
- Aid in the installation and initial startup of new equipment.
- Provide support for general facility maintenance tasks as needed, including plumbing, electrical work, and general repairs.
- Fabricate or repair machine components using blueprints and drawings to ensure operational efficiency.
- Install and relocate production equipment using appropriate rigging methods, contributing to efficient workflow.
- Collaborate with maintenance and engineering teams to optimize equipment performance.
- Engage in continuous improvement initiatives and training programs to enhance skills and knowledge.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in industrial maintenance within a manufacturing setting.
- Solid mechanical aptitude complemented by fundamental electrical knowledge.
- Familiarity with three-phase motors, VFDs, and servos.
- Competence in troubleshooting PLC systems and interpreting ladder logic.
- Practical experience with hydraulics and pneumatics systems.
- Working knowledge of CNC equipment, including mills and lathes.
- Experience with robotics is desirable (Fanuc or cobots preferred).
- Ability to interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals accurately.
