About the Opportunity
We are looking for a talented Maintenance Technician to handle the troubleshooting, upkeep, and repair of CNC machines and other manufacturing equipment. The right person will keep machines running smoothly, reduce downtime, and help production by performing preventive maintenance and quickly fixing equipment problems. This job calls for solid skills in both mechanical and electrical troubleshooting, along with a dedication to keeping the manufacturing environment safe and efficient.
Your Responsibilities
Pinpoint and fix problems with CNC machines and automated manufacturing equipment.
Carry out preventive maintenance to boost equipment reliability and cut down on downtime.
Find and fix mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues efficiently.
Understand and use technical manuals, blueprints, electrical schematics, and machine documents.
Replace or fix broken parts like motors, drives, sensors, bearings, belts, and control systems to ensure smooth operations.
Help set up, calibrate, and align machines to make sure they work right and are precise.
Work with production teams to quickly fix machine problems and stick to production schedules, ensuring minimal disruption.
Keep detailed logs of maintenance, repairs, and preventive actions.
Help move, set up, and start CNC machines and manufacturing equipment.
Stick to all safety rules, lockout/tagout steps, and company maintenance rules, contributing to a safer workplace.
What We're Looking For
High school diploma or GED needed; training in industrial maintenance, mechatronics, or similar area is a plus.
Experience in fixing CNC machines in a manufacturing setting.
Solid knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
Comfortable reading electrical diagrams, schematics, and equipment guides.
Experience with PLC-based equipment and basic control systems is a plus.
Knowledge of preventive maintenance and documentation.
Excellent problem-solving abilities.
