Maintenance Operations Leader

Are you a strategic and hands-on leader passionate about optimizing equipment performance? We are seeking an Equipment Maintenance Leader to oversee maintenance operations in our dynamic distribution environment. In this role, you will drive continuous improvement and ensure the reliability of our equipment, facilities, and powered industrial vehicles (PIVs) using your technical expertise and leadership skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Spearhead a team of maintenance supervisors and technicians, fostering their professional growth and development.
• Direct daily maintenance activities to minimize downtime and maximize operational efficiency.
• Partner with Engineering and Distribution teams to resolve issues, conduct repairs, and enhance machinery and equipment performance.
• Design and implement proactive maintenance strategies to prevent equipment failures and extend asset lifecycles.
• Manage maintenance budgets effectively, optimize spare parts inventory, and nurture strong vendor partnerships.
• Uphold strict adherence to safety protocols and company standards across all maintenance operations.
• Champion continuous improvement initiatives, leveraging lean principles to drive operational excellence.

Qualifications

Required Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Industrial Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Demonstrated experience (5 years) in maintenance leadership within a distribution or manufacturing setting.
• In-depth knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
• Hands-on experience with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems).

• Proven ability to collaborate effectively across departments and manage competing priorities.
• Proficiency in PLC Troubleshooting, Heavy Equipment Repair, and Root Cause Analysis.
