Landscape Crew Leader

Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Landscape Crew Leader to oversee and coordinate landscape maintenance projects. This leadership role involves supervising a team of landscapers while ensuring extremely high-quality work in various outdoor settings. The ideal candidate will possess strong knowledge of landscaping along with proven supervisory skills or show willingness to learn quickly. As a Landscape Crew Leader, you will play a vital role in maintaining the aesthetic and health of outdoor environments, guiding team members, and ensuring safety and efficiency on all job sites.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise a team during daily operations, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and to high standards
• Oversee landscape maintenance activities including trimming, planting, pruning mulching and other various tasks
• Coordinate project schedules, assign tasks, and monitor progress to meet deadlines
• Ensure proper use and maintenance of tools and equipment related to landscaping and construction
• Provide training and mentorship to team members on best practices in horticulture, tree care, lawn care
• Communicate effectively with clients to understand project requirements and provide updates on work progress

Requirements

• Proven experience in landscape maintenance, landscaping or ability to learn quickly
• Willingness to work at a faster than average pace
• Supervising or leadership experience
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively
• Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, bending, digging, and operating landscaping equipment
• Excellent communication skills for coordinating with team members and clients
• Valid driver’s license

Pay: $22.00 - $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 – 55.0 per week
