Industrial Automation Control Technician

As an Industrial Automation Control Technician, you will serve as the primary point of contact for monitoring and optimizing complex robotic material handling systems. You will play a critical role in ensuring maximum system uptime, coordinating technical troubleshooting efforts, and maintaining seamless operational workflows within a high-speed warehouse environment.

• Oversee real-time performance and availability of automated robotic vehicles and conveyor systems via HMI interfaces.
• Drive operational excellence by proactively identifying and resolving system bottlenecks to maintain production targets.
• Collaborate with off-site engineering teams and on-site management to troubleshoot software anomalies and hardware failures.
• Maintain comprehensive logs of system events, providing detailed analysis of failure causes to improve long-term reliability.
• Coordinate daily maintenance schedules and inventory flows in partnership with warehouse leadership.
• Ensure all activities strictly adhere to OSHA safety standards, including lock-out/tag-out and fall protection protocols.
• Provide technical guidance and training to team members to build collective troubleshooting expertise.

Required Skills

• Minimum 1 year of experience in a technical, computer-based, or automated warehouse environment.
• Proficiency with HMI software, Microsoft Excel, and Warehouse Management Systems.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret log files and diagnose technical issues.
• Ability to work in physically demanding environments, including heights and varied temperatures.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills for cross-functional collaboration.

• Prior experience in material handling systems or industrial robotics.
