Precision Swiss CNC Technician

As a Precision Swiss CNC Technician, you will play a vital role in our manufacturing operations by ensuring the seamless production of complex, high-tolerance components. You will leverage your technical expertise to manage machine setups, optimize tooling, and maintain rigorous quality standards to drive operational excellence.

• Execute complete machine setups for Swiss-style lathes by following detailed process documentation and setup sheets.
• Perform precise tool changes and adjustments to ensure optimal machine performance and dimensional accuracy.
• Conduct thorough first-article inspections to verify that all components meet strict blueprint specifications and geometric requirements.
• Monitor active machining processes to identify and resolve potential defects, ensuring consistent, high-quality output.
• Maintain equipment health through routine maintenance and proactive troubleshooting of mechanical or process-related issues.
• Collaborate with the production team to maximize workflow efficiency and meet critical delivery timelines.

Required Skills

• Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience operating and setting up Swiss-type CNC lathes.
• Advanced proficiency in interpreting complex engineering blueprints, including GD&T standards.
• Demonstrated ability to use precision measuring instruments such as micrometers, calipers, and gauges.
• Strong mechanical aptitude with a proven track record of troubleshooting machining processes.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with specific Swiss-style lathe brands such as Star or Citizen.
• Familiarity with CMM or other advanced quality inspection technologies.
• Experience working with a diverse range of materials, including titanium, stainless steel, and specialty plastics.
• Background in high-precision industries such as medical device or aerospace manufacturing.
