As a Field Service Technician, you will provide critical preventative and reactive maintenance for high-volume commercial kitchen and facility systems, ensuring optimal performance and reliability across a local service territory.
Responsibilities- Diagnose, repair, and install a wide range of commercial kitchen, refrigeration, and HVAC systems to maximize equipment uptime.
- Execute precise preventative maintenance schedules to ensure all building systems meet rigorous performance standards.
- Manage technical service requests by providing rapid, effective solutions that adhere to established service level agreements.
- Maintain accurate documentation of all repairs, parts usage, and inventory levels through digital service platforms.
- Collaborate with technical support teams and equipment manufacturers to streamline complex diagnostics and parts procurement.
- Ensure the highest standards of safety and operational efficiency while managing an organized mobile service vehicle.
Required Skills
- 5 years of professional experience in trade-based maintenance or facility systems repair.
- Current EPA Universal Certification for handling refrigerants.
- Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to interpret complex technical diagrams and schematics.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record and the ability to operate service vehicles safely.
- Proficiency with mobile service applications and standard office software for reporting.
Preferred Skills
- Formal training or certification from a technical trade school.
- Direct experience servicing specialized foodservice equipment, including hot-side cooking units and refrigeration.
- Proven ability to troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and HVAC control systems independently.
- Excellent communication skills with a focus on delivering a positive, service-oriented experience to clients.
