About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Specialist to ensure the smooth operation of our facility. In this role, you will be instrumental in maintaining equipment, performing repairs, and contributing to a safe and efficient work environment. Your expertise in mechanical and electrical systems will be essential in keeping our production running seamlessly.
Responsibilities- Conduct routine maintenance and repairs on presses and auxiliary equipment to minimize downtime.
- Collaborate on the installation of new equipment, ensuring proper setup and functionality.
- Address daily emergency repairs, prioritizing tasks to maintain production schedules.
- Facilitate effective shift-to-shift communication, providing updates on equipment status and ongoing issues.
- Maintain a safe working environment by adhering to safety regulations and promptly addressing hazards.
- Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues.
- Ensure optimal equipment performance through proactive maintenance and timely repairs.
Required Skills
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a printing or similar manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency in mechanical troubleshooting, electrical repair, and heavy equipment maintenance.
- Strong knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
- Familiarity with 120/208/240/480 Voltage Systems.
Preferred Skills
- Vo-Tech training.
- Experience in building maintenance and machine shop repairs.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in using computers, including Word, Excel, and email.
