We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Specialist to ensure the optimal functionality of our facility infrastructure and production equipment. In this role, you will be instrumental in performing preventative maintenance and addressing malfunctions on injection molding machinery, automation systems, and various building systems. Your expertise in troubleshooting mechanical and electrical problems, coupled with your ability to maintain essential utilities, will directly contribute to our operational efficiency.
Responsibilities- Conduct maintenance, diagnose issues, and execute repairs on injection molding machines, robots, and related equipment, ensuring seamless production processes.
- Maintain and service facility systems, including plumbing, electrical distribution, HVAC units, and compressed air systems, to provide a safe and functional working environment.
- Monitor equipment performance and facility utilities, proactively identifying opportunities to minimize downtime and enhance overall reliability.
- Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues on both production and facility equipment, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
- Perform preventive maintenance tasks and champion continuous improvement initiatives, contributing to the long-term reliability of our equipment.
- Support the installation, setup, and relocation of machinery and equipment, ensuring efficient and safe integration into our production line.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, spare parts usage, and service history, facilitating informed decision-making and efficient resource management.
- Ensure adherence to safety, environmental, and workplace organization standards, actively promoting a culture of safety and efficiency.
Required Skills
- High school diploma or technical certification in a relevant field (e.g., Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, Industrial Maintenance).
- Minimum of 5 years of hands-on maintenance experience within a manufacturing setting, with significant exposure to plastic injection molding equipment and/or automated production lines.
- Proficient in interpreting mechanical drawings, wiring diagrams, and equipment manuals to facilitate effective troubleshooting and repairs.
Preferred Skills
- Comprehensive knowledge of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems commonly found in industrial machinery.
- Experience maintaining facility utilities and general building systems, including plumbing, HVAC, compressors, and electrical infrastructure.
- Familiarity with preventive maintenance strategies and reliability-focused maintenance practices.
- Certifications such as electrician licensing or forklift operation.
