About the Role
We are looking for a highly skilled Maintenance Leader to oversee maintenance activities for our manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical, electrical, and automation background, along with a demonstrated ability to develop effective maintenance teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and develop the maintenance department for a manufacturing facility, including hiring, training, and mentoring a high-performance technical team.
- Design, implement, and improve maintenance processes and systems, including preventive and predictive maintenance strategies to maximize equipment reliability.
- Work closely with engineering, operations, and leadership teams during the installation, commissioning, and scaling of new production equipment.
- Diagnose and resolve complex mechanical, electrical, and automation issues to ensure optimal equipment uptime and performance.
- Manage maintenance budgets, spare parts inventory, and vendor relationships to ensure cost-effective and efficient operations.
- Ensure all equipment and maintenance activities adhere to safety, quality, and regulatory standards to maintain a safe and compliant work environment.
- Analyze equipment performance data and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and reduce downtime.
- Develop comprehensive documentation, SOPs, and training materials for all maintenance activities to ensure consistency and knowledge transfer.
Qualifications
Required Skills
- 5 years of maintenance leadership experience in a manufacturing environment.
- In-depth knowledge of mechanical systems, electrical controls, automation/PLC systems, and industrial equipment.
- Experience in hiring, coaching, and developing technical teams.
- Proven track record of implementing preventive and predictive maintenance programs.
Preferred Skills
- Startup plant experience is highly desirable.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with shifting priorities.
- Excellent communication, project management, and organizational skills.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities.
- Associate's or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Industrial Technology, or a related field.
