Responsibilities- Assemble mechanical components and units according to blueprints and engineering specifications.
- Identify and rectify discrepancies in assembled units to maintain product integrity.
- Adhere to safety protocols and actively participate in safety meetings to foster a secure working environment.
- Conduct quality checks on assemblies, ensuring compliance with quality standards and identifying potential issues.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient work area to optimize productivity.
- Perform other assembly-related tasks as needed to support production goals.
Required Skills
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- 0-3 years of experience in a manufacturing setting.
- Proficiency in reading tape measures and performing conversions between fractional, decimal, and metric units.
- Basic knowledge of machines and tools, including their operation and maintenance.
- Basic command of the English language, both written and verbal.
Preferred Skills
- Prior experience with switchgear unit assembly.
- Familiarity with MES (Manufacturing Execution System).
- Possession of safety training certificates.
