Electrical Maintenance Technician

As an Electrical Maintenance Technician, you will serve as a vital member of our technical team, ensuring the reliability and peak performance of complex production machinery. You will leverage your expertise in PLC troubleshooting and high-voltage systems to minimize downtime and drive operational efficiency across our manufacturing floor.

• Diagnose and resolve complex electrical issues on printing, laminating, and slitting equipment by analyzing machine data and operator feedback.
• Interpret intricate technical schematics, ladder logic, and control diagrams to execute precise repairs and system adjustments.
• Execute comprehensive predictive and preventive maintenance programs to extend equipment lifespan and prevent unexpected failures.
• Collaborate with cross-functional maintenance teams to streamline project workflows and optimize machine availability.
• Manage work orders and technical documentation within the CMMS to ensure full regulatory compliance and accurate record-keeping.
• Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance safety standards and operational output.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment in accordance with industry standards.

Required Skills

• Valid Journeyman Electrician license.
• 2-4 years of experience in an industrial manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical schematics and logic diagrams.
• Strong working knowledge of National Electrical Code (NEC) and industrial safety protocols.
• Hands-on experience with PLC operation, AC/DC drives, and control wiring.

Preferred Skills

• Advanced troubleshooting experience with Allen Bradley control systems and PanelViews.
• Demonstrated ability to utilize oscilloscopes and advanced electronic testing equipment.
• Experience with solid-state components and complex electronic board repair.
• Proven track record of supporting continuous improvement projects in a high-speed production setting.
