About the Role
We are looking for a highly skilled CNC Manufacturing Engineer to drive precision and efficiency within our production environment. You will leverage your expertise in advanced programming and machine optimization to transform complex engineering designs into high-quality, finished components.
Responsibilities- Develop and refine complex CNC programs to maximize throughput and maintain rigorous quality standards on multi-axis lathes.
- Utilize Esprit CAM software to translate technical specifications into efficient, repeatable machining processes.
- Execute complex machine setups independently, ensuring equipment is calibrated for optimal performance and precision.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to machine operators to elevate overall department skill sets.
- Conduct thorough first-article inspections to ensure all output aligns with customer requirements and engineering tolerances.
- Maintain equipment reliability through proactive troubleshooting and routine maintenance oversight.
Required Skills
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- 7 years of hands-on experience in precision machining or valid State Journeyman certification.
- Advanced proficiency in Fanuc controls and G-Code programming.
- Demonstrated expertise in Esprit 3D CAD/CAM software.
- Strong analytical and mathematical aptitude for complex problem-solving.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with Swiss-style lathes (Tsugami, Citizen) and multi-axis Nakamura equipment.
- Prior experience in a technical lead or training capacity within a machine shop.
- Proficiency in Mastercam or similar high-end CAM platforms.
- Proven track record of equipment repair and process optimization.
