CDL A Truck Driver - Hazmat & Tanker

As a vital member of our team, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of materials, ensuring compliance with all regulations. Your expertise in handling hazardous materials and operating tanker trucks will contribute directly to our operational success. This role requires a commitment to safety, meticulous attention to detail, and adherence to strict protocols.

Responsibilities

• Execute the loading, unloading, and transfer of raw materials from tanker trucks, ensuring accuracy and safety.
• Transport and deliver chemicals to customer locations, adhering to safety standards and providing necessary documentation.
• Manage hoses securely during loading and unloading operations, preventing spills and ensuring environmental protection.
• Conduct thorough pre- and post-trip inspections of vehicles, reporting any maintenance needs promptly.
• Adhere to all company policies, as well as federal, state, and local regulations, maintaining compliance at all times.
• Familiarize yourself with plant operating procedures to ensure seamless integration with site operations.
• Address other duties as needed to support overall team objectives.

Qualifications

Required Skills

• Minimum of two (2) years of recent experience operating tractor/tanker vehicles.
• Minimum of one (1) year of recent experience specifically with tanker operations.
• Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A, with hazmat and tanker endorsements.
• Possession of a clean driving record for the past three (3) years.
• Must be physically qualified to operate a motor vehicle, with a valid DOT medical card.

Preferred Skills

• Ability to provide documented proof of experience or training in safely operating the type of motor vehicle used.
