This role serves as a trusted advisor to internal clients, ensuring projects align with organizational objectives, maintain brand consistency, and deliver measurable business results.

Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary communications strategist and account manager for assigned clients and projects.
- Develop, execute, and evaluate communication plans that support business goals and organizational priorities.
- Act as the main point of contact for clients, managing project scope, timelines, budgets, and deliverables.
- Build and maintain strong partnerships by developing a deep understanding of client objectives, challenges, and customer needs.
- Collaborate with creative teams, including copywriters and designers, to deliver high-quality marketing and communications materials.
- Ensure projects are completed on schedule, within budget, and in accordance with established workflows and processes.
- Partner with digital communications teams to support online marketing initiatives and channel optimization.
- Provide communications counsel and strategic recommendations to stakeholders.
- Support emergency or crisis communications efforts as a secondary account manager during designated periods throughout the year.
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, English, or a related field.
- 8 years of account management experience.
- Experience in advertising, branding, marketing communications, and project management.
- Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Experience managing integrated communications campaigns across print, video, digital, social media, and other channels.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and SharePoint.
- Experience using project or work management systems.
- Ability to build strong client relationships and effectively navigate complex stakeholder environments.
- Demonstrated success developing strategic communications plans tied to measurable business outcomes.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities independently.
- Experience in the energy industry and familiarity with Kanban methodologies are a plus.
- Occasional overtime may be required to support special projects and crisis response activities (approximately 10–15% annually).
- Candidates must be able to work onsite three days per week following the onboarding period.
