Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary resource for app and gaming knowledge across mobile, PC, console, and VR platforms
- Research current and upcoming apps and game titles, trends, industry developments, and major intellectual properties
- Create research documentation and presentations to support creative teams and production planning
- Capture high-quality gameplay and app footage for use in marketing assets, trailers, demos, and digital content deliverables
- Edit gameplay and app footage using industry-standard editing platforms
- Provide creative guidance and subject matter expertise during concept development and creative review sessions
- Analyze and communicate gameplay mechanics, narratives, visual styles, and user experiences to cross-functional teams
- Collaborate closely with producers, editors, creatives, and marketing teams to support storytelling and campaign objectives
- Monitor app and game updates, platform changes, and ongoing marketing campaigns to maintain current expertise
- Troubleshoot iOS and macOS devices and support production workflows as needed
- Deep knowledge of apps and video games across mobile, PC, console, and VR platforms
- Strong understanding of gaming culture, industry terminology, trends, and major franchises
- Experience capturing and editing gameplay footage for promotional or media use
- Understanding of cinematography, visual storytelling, and video editing principles
- Proficiency with Final Cut Pro X and/or Adobe Premiere
- Strong presentation and communication skills with the ability to explain technical or gameplay concepts to creative teams
- Collaborative mindset with experience working in creative production environments
- General knowledge of iOS and macOS platforms with basic troubleshooting capabilities
- Ability to quickly learn and deeply understand new apps and games
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Art, Film, Media Production, Game Design/Development, or related field experience preferred
- 5–7 years of experience within gaming, media production, technology, or related creative industries
