Requirements
Candidates for this role will have:
Education
- A degree in Robotics, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 7 years of hands-on industrial robotics experience.
- 3 years leading robotic system design or engineering teams.
- Extensive experience with palletizing and high-speed product handling applications.
- Strong experience in integrating robots with PLC-controlled systems.
- Strong experience with Rockwell PLCs.
- Proficiency in FANUC is required. Experience with other major robot platforms is helpful (ABB, KUKA, Yaskawa, etc.).
- Strong understanding of motion control, servo systems, vision integration, and EOAT design.
- Experience with industrial networking (EtherNet/IP, Profinet, etc.).
- Ability to interpret mechanical and electrical drawings.
- Experience with safety standards (RIA, ISO, ANSI).
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to lead technical discussions with customers and internal stakeholders.
