Your mission
Own the controls lifecycle. From concept sketch to on‑site startup, you will engineer safe, reliable motion and logic that transforms requirements into production equipment.
- Program to precise Erdman and customer specifications
- Create safety PLC logic and perform risk assessments; implement the right safety devices
- Specify electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic components and produce complete control documentation
- Design electrical/pneumatic systems; implement PLC/HMI/robot code; debug and certify at customer run‑off
- Travel about 25% for field installation and startup
- PLC, HMI, robots, motion control, pneumatics, hydraulics
- AutoCAD
- Allen‑Bradley toolset: Studio 5000, RSLogix 500, FactoryTalk View, and related packages
- VFDs, servo motors, industrial robots
- Allen‑Bradley and FANUC PLCs
- 5–10 years programming control systems for automated equipment using pneumatics and hydraulics
- Track record of taking projects from concept through installation
- Proficient in industrial/manufacturing engineering and PLC programming
- Associate degree in a relevant field preferred
