Director, Investment Portfolio Research opening located at a wealth management firm in Boston

As a Senior Recruiter at Fanning- Masis, I assist my client companies, investment/asset/wealth management firms located in and around Boston which serve a private wealth and/or institutional client base, with their candidate recruitment process.

I’m writing to inform you that one of my client companies, a wealth management firm located in Boston which serves an UHNW client base, is seeking a Director, Investment Portfolio Research. The diverse duties of this role include performing public and private investment research, conducting due diligence on managers that best meet the needs, performance objectives, and risk tolerance of the firm’s clients, collaborating with colleagues to develop and monitor portfolio investment recommendations/ strategies and the like. As the clients are seeking this individual's vision regarding interest rates, real estate, etc. as much as monitoring performance, this person must also have the presence and ability to articulate portfolio construction and the logic employed to build their portfolios.

Advanced degrees or certifications such as an MBA, CFP, CFA, JD, while not an absolute prerequisite to be considered a viable candidate for this role, are highly recommended.

This role is a FANTASTIC opportunity for an individual who offers 8 years of experience performing the tasks described above

Compensation includes a base salary in the $175K- $225K range, depending on experience, plus bonus
