A well-established pharmaceutical manufacturing facility in Bethlehem, PA is seeking a Maintenance Planner for a long-term contract role supporting a state-of-the-art operation.
Maintenance Planner β Summary
The Maintenance Planner improves workforce productivity and maintenance quality by proactively planning, scheduling, and coordinating maintenance labor, materials, parts, tools, and equipment access to minimize downtime.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, scope, and schedule maintenance work, PMs, and facility shutdowns
- Estimate labor and material requirements (internal & external)
- Develop job plans, task instructions, material lists, and standard PMs
- Create purchase requisitions and manage work orders in CMMS/EAM
- Coordinate with Operations, Packaging, Maintenance, and Engineering
- Identify work requiring engineering review and support execution planning
- Maintain GMP, OSHA, and company safety compliance
- Manage maintenance backlog and continuous improvement initiatives
Administrative & Storehouse Support:
- Maintain records, BOMs, invoices, and CMMS data
- Support budgeting, cost tracking, and trend analysis
- Maintain job plans, Gantt charts, critical path and resource leveling tools
- Support storeroom operations, inventory control, and audits
- Assist technicians with parts sourcing and ordering
- Operate forklift as required
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 5 years of Maintenance Planner experience
- Mechanical and/or electrical background required
- Strong knowledge of maintenance processes, CMMS/EAM, and scheduling
- Ability to read blueprints, drawings, and process diagrams
- Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
- Proficient in Excel, MS Project, and Microsoft Office
Salary : $60,000 - $75,000
