We are seeking a highly experienced, self-sufficient and motivated Community Director to oversee the daily operations of a residential community in South Florida. The ideal candidate is a strong leader who can manage property operations, maintain high occupancy, and deliver excellent resident service while protecting the value of the property.
This role is responsible for leasing, resident relations, financial management, and property maintenance coordination.
Key Responsibilities
Property Operations
- Oversee daily operations of the community
- Conduct regular property inspections
- Coordinate maintenance requests and vendor services
- Ensure the property is clean, safe, and well maintained
Leasing & Marketing
- Market available units through online platforms and local advertising
- Develop strategies to attract qualified applicants and reduce vacancy
- Conduct property tours and respond to prospective resident inquiries
- Process applications and execute lease agreements
- Maintain strong occupancy levels
Resident Relations
- Serve as the primary contact for residents
- Address concerns and resolve issues promptly and professionally
- Enforce community policies and lease terms
- Promote a positive community environment
- Arrange community events
Financial Management
- Oversee rent collection and community fees
- Monitor delinquent accounts and follow proper procedures
Compliance
- Ensure compliance with Florida landlord-tenant laws and Fair Housing regulations
- Maintain accurate resident records and lease documentation
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of property management experience preferred
- Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills
- Knowledge of Florida landlord-tenant laws and Fair Housing
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Experience with property management software
Preferred
- Experience managing multifamily communities
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred
- CAM license or Real Estate License (if applicable)
