Key Responsibilities
Community Outreach & Education:
- Develop and implement strategies to educate the public about JLBR's programs,
- Serve as a liaison between JLBR and local nonprofits, community groups, and
- Organize and lead informational sessions, workshops, and community engagement events
- Develop marketing and communication materials that clearly outline JLBR's resources
- Represent JLBR at local networking events, speaking engagements, and partner
Fundraising & Development (Woman Volunteer of the Year & Other Initiatives):
- Collaborate with the Fundraising Council and Board of Directors to develop and
- Lead efforts to secure corporate sponsorships, individual donors, and in-kind
- Assist in planning and executing WVOY, including coordinating fundraising asks,
- Work closely with event committees to maximize fundraising potential and donor
- Identify new revenue streams and grant opportunities to further support JLBR's programs
Program & Volunteer Coordination
- Work with JLBR leadership to ensure all programs align with our mission and
- Support volunteer engagement and training efforts to strengthen JLBR's impact.
- Track program success and community engagement metrics, providing reports to
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in nonprofit management, public relations, business, or a related field.
- 3 years of experience in nonprofit program management, fundraising, or community
- Strong knowledge of fundraising strategies, donor cultivation, and event planning.
- Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills.
- Experience working with corporate sponsors, community organizations, and volunteers.
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, donor databases (GiveSmart), and digital marketing
- Passion for voluntarism, community engagement, and women's leadership
