Location: Mason, Ohio (100% onsite when not traveling; ~90% travel across the U.S.)

Job Title: PLC Controls Engineer II (6-month contract)
Location: Mason, Ohio (100% onsite when not traveling; ~90% travel across the U.S.)
Pay Range: $45.00 – $50.00 per hour
What’s the Job?
- Lead automation projects for material handling systems, including PLC programming and system implementation
- Develop, test, and commission PLC code both internally and onsite at customer locations
- Review AutoCAD layouts and electrical schematics to support system design and programming
- Manage project scope, timelines, and deliverables while coordinating with cross-functional teams
- Execute system testing (FAT, UAT, BUAT) and ensure compliance with engineering standards
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering
- 4 years of Controls Engineering experience in a similar environment
- Hands-on experience with PLC programming (Allen-Bradley, Siemens, Beckhoff) and HMI systems
- Experience with material handling systems (e-commerce/warehouse automation)
- Ability and willingness to travel up to 85–90%
