Maintenance Technician – 3rd shift – Manpower
Our client, who is a leading manufacturer in the home fragrance industry, is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join their team.
As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for performing preventative maintenance, troubleshooting equipment, and supporting safe and efficient plant operations. The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical/electrical aptitude, manufacturing experience, and a positive attitude that aligns successfully with the organization.
Job Title: Maintenance Technician – 3rd shift
Location: Kansas City, KS
Pay Rate Range: $30-35/hr $1.50 shift differential
Shift: 3rd shift 11:00pm – 7:30am Sunday PM – Friday am
What’s the Job?
- Install, repair, and maintain manufacturing equipment and facility infrastructure
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and fluid power systems
- Diagnose and repair electrical control systems (24V DC – 480V AC; single and three-phase)
- Read and interpret schematics and blueprints
- Maintain and repair pneumatic systems including compressors and dryers
- Maintain and service gas-fired boilers
- Perform scheduled preventative maintenance (PMs)
- Document work completed in CMMS system
- Follow Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) and all safety protocols
What’s Needed?
- 2 years of manufacturing maintenance experience
- Degree, certification, or documented electrical/mechanical experience is preferred
- Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude
- Knowledge of safe use of electrical meters
- Ability to communicate in English (bilingual English/Spanish a plus)
