Top international manufacturing company located in Baltimore MD is hiring for a direct hire Production Manager. Position will report to the Senior Operations Director and will work as a peer leader responsible for standing up a brand-new manufacturing facility in Baltimore.
This is a collaborative startup environment — Production Manager will be expected to work closely with other departments, share knowledge across lines, and build a unified production culture together, not operate in isolation within their individual departments. A background in operations, production management, process development, and continuous improvement is critical, as you will be developing the production process and team from the ground up,
Each role also requires regular interaction with international operations team, including monthly cross-functional meetings. Candidates must be comfortable communicating across cultural and geographic contexts and representing their line's performance to an international leadership audience.
Position Requirements:
- 5 years Experience working in a cable, wire, plastics, metallurgical, or jacketing manufacturing
- Experience with start-up and/or restructuring experience
- Hands-on production team management experience - ownership of KPIs, scrap, throughput, schedule adherence, and labor utilization
- Experience in continuous-process or high-volume manufacturing — understands the rhythm and discipline of a line that doesn't stop
Salary : $120,000 - $175,000
