What's the Job?
- Manage assigned areas, including multiple exchanges, with minimal supervision to ensure project goals are met efficiently.
- Coordinate with jurisdictions, customers, and joint utilities to facilitate field meets and project execution.
- Draft designs, identify materials, and order necessary resources for project completion.
- Establish project milestones, negotiate private ROW, and ensure permitting requirements are met.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in OSP engineering or related field.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and experience with CADTEL, Peoplesoft, or Netcracker systems.
- Knowledge of aerial, buried, and underground (U.G.) new build designs, including copper and fiber technology.
- Understanding of copper cable counts, fiber assignments, and fiber optic technology.
- Effective oral and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with government entities and partner departments.
