Project Engineer

Our client, a leader in pharmaceutical manufacturing, is seeking a Project Engineer to join their team. As a Project Engineer, you will be part of the Engineering department supporting cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong ownership, excellent communication skills, and a proactive approach, which will align successfully in the organization.

What's the Job?

• Lead and execute capital and process improvement projects ranging from $50K to over $1M in scope.
• Support production capacity enhancements, safety improvements, and quality upgrades across multiple manufacturing areas.
• Manage full-cycle project execution including concept development, URS preparation, vendor selection, FAT/SAT, installation, and validation.
• Ensure compliance with cGMP, FDA standards, and safety regulations throughout project phases.
• Coordinate with external contractors, prepare project status reports, and identify opportunities for process optimization and technology upgrades.
  
  

What's Needed?

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Industrial Engineering or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years experience leading capital projects in regulated environments such as pharma or nutraceutical manufacturing.
• Strong understanding of cGMP, FDA expectations, and validation processes.
• Proficiency in CAD, Microsoft Office, and project management tools.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting.
