HSE Engineer

Our client, a leading aerospace and technology organization, is seeking an HSE Engineer to join their team. As an HSE Engineer, you will be part of the Health, Safety & Environmental Department supporting Production Teams and Warehouse Operations. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, collaboration skills, and a proactive approach to safety, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: HSE Engineer

Location: Palmetto, FL

Pay Range: $40.00 - $50.00/hour based on experience

What’s the Job?

• Provide HSE field support to production areas and warehouse operations, including shop floor rounds, inspections, audits, and direct interaction with production teams.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations, permits, certifications, and safe work practices.
• Conduct risk assessments, safety audits, and support the development, review, and deployment of Safe Work Procedures and Job Safety Analyses (JSAs).
• Deliver HSE training to new and existing employees and participate in shift production meetings.
• Conduct and support incident investigations while tracking HSE actions and compliance tasks through the HSE Management System (MST).
  
  

What’s Needed?

• 5 years of HSE experience with an emphasis on industrial safety.
• In-depth knowledge of HSE regulations and best practices in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Experience conducting incident investigations and reporting with a focus on continuous improvement.
• Proven ability to build positive relationships and collaborate with production teams to improve safety culture.
• OSHA 30 training (certified or in progress) is preferred.
