III. Job Summary
The Coordinator of Licensure & Data works under the general supervision of the Chair of Education Programs. This individual facilitates comprehensive data collection, compilation, and dissemination to ensure strategic ongoing programs and student outcome assessment and planning. This individual serves as the department’s Ohio Educator Licensure Specialist.
IV. Essential Duties and Responsibilities
● Advise the Chair of Education Programs regarding assessment initiatives and progress.
● Work collaboratively with other SEHD leaders to facilitate program assessment, development, revision, and approvals related to rubric and course assignment changes etc.
● Monitor the department and program assessment plans and structure, suggest revisions as warranted, review at least annually.
● As designated Tevera administrator for Education Programs, collaborate with the Chair to oversee the oncampus tracking systems and processes related to teacher candidate assessment and evaluations, preparedness and eligibility for licensure; train and assist users of the system; manage data for field binders including student teaching evaluations, key assessments, the edTPA etc.
● Work with the Chair to engage stakeholders and program alumni in evaluation of program effectiveness (as related to alumni and employee surveys) and community needs for changes in existing programs or the creation of new programs.
● Work with the Chair to prepare periodic updates for the Teacher Educator Committee, the Education Department, and Malone Education Advisory Board; (as related to status of student teachers).
● Monitor edTPA submissions and aid EDUC 464 (Student Teaching Seminar) instructor.
● Serve as a point-of-contact for and maintain the currency and accuracy of information posted on the University website related to the school’s programs.
● Collaborate with the Chair to prepare reports for stakeholders, including, but not limited to the university, the US Department of Education (Title II), Ohio Department of Education (ODE: Title II and the Ohio
Performance Report), Ohio Department of Higher Education (ODHE), and the Council for the Accreditation of Education Preparation (CAEP Annual Report).
● As designated Ohio Educator Licensure Specialist, coordinate and review teacher candidates’ completion of the processes for application for Ohio educator licenses.
● Other duties as assigned by the Chair of the Education Programs.

VI. Education and Experience
● Position requires a bachelor’s degree in business, management, or education. It involves proficiency with application software (including advanced proficiency in all Microsoft Office Applications, especially Excel, as well as Google Suite and a range of required skills e.g. pivot tables/slicers/macros/advanced formulas, Google site, form, sheets, docs, etc.)., the ability to gather statistical data to generate reports, a minimum of 3 years work experience with database management technology, and experience training end users in technology.
