III. Job Summary
This position is responsible for the upkeep of the JenzabarOne system, the maintenance and development of custom portlets accessed within Malone Xpress (JICS - Jenzabar Intranet Campus Solution), and for middleware application support and development between the Jenzabar system and other systems.
IV. Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Provides support and facilitate upgrades for the Jenzabar One system and accompanying ecosystem. This includes, but is not limited to databases, JICS, J1Web, Infomaker. Work with Jenzabar Professional Services and Support to troubleshoot, test, maintain, and upgrade these systems.
- Maintains, supports, and - as necessary - develops new functionality in JICS – Malone Xpress information portlets and applications in C#, CSS, javascript. The JICS platform is Microsoft IIS server based. Malone Xpress is the campus Intranet portal.
- Maintains, supports, and develops middleware data import/exports between Malone systems and external system providers. ETL (extract, transform, load) operations will be completed using available toolkits including Constituo (platform), APIs (Postman), Microsoft SQLServer, Powershell Scripting, Informatica, Python, Java, Git, and others as needed.
- Cross-trains and provides backup and support for other members of the Business Systems team.
- Develops policies and/or procedures for this position as needed.

VI. Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree with a major in Computer Science, Information Technology, or Software Development.
- 1-2 years of IT experience is desirable with desired experience in the following languages, technologies, and support tools which were previously listed, e.g., C#, JavaScript, Python, Microsoft WCF, Jquery, SQL, IIS Administration, HTML Development, Ajax, Git, continuous development environments.
VII. Working Conditions / Physical Demands
- Evening and weekend availability will be required for the upgrading and ongoing maintenance of systems and during busier periods of the academic school year
- Some after hours on-call support is required.
- This is a primarily on-site position. Remote work will be approved on a limited, as needed basis.
- Travel may be required to attend classes, conferences, workshops, seminars, etc. to further skills pertaining to this position.
- Moderate physical activity is required, including the handling of equipment up to 50 lbs
