Job Title: Process Automation Developer (Power Platform)

Position Overview
We are seeking a hands-on Process Automation Developer to design, build, and migrate automation solutions using Microsoft Power Platform tools. This role will focus on transitioning existing workflows from Nintex and SharePoint into Power Apps and Power Automate, while improving efficiency and creating reusable documentation.
This is a highly independent, individual contributor role ideal for someone who can build solutions end-to-end—not just maintain existing applications.
Key Responsibilities
Migrate existing automations from Nintex/SharePoint to Power Platform
Design and develop Power Apps (Canvas or Model-Driven) from scratch
Build and manage Power Automate workflows (automated, instant, scheduled)
Rebuild approval forms and business process workflows
Enhance and optimize existing automation processes
Create detailed documentation for all developed solutions
Manage 1–2 automation projects at a time (ranging from 1 week to ~4 months)
Troubleshoot and resolve issues in apps and workflows
Day-to-Day Activities
Review requirements, screenshots, and process documentation
Independently design and build Power Apps and flows
Collaborate with internal team for clarification when needed
Test applications and develop basic test scripts
Document completed solutions for future reuse
Required Qualifications
2–6 years of experience with Microsoft Power Apps and Power Automate
Proven ability to build apps and workflows from scratch (end-to-end)
Strong experience with:
Power Apps development
Power Automate flow design and troubleshooting
Writing Power Fx formulas (e.g., If, Patch, ForAll)
Experience debugging failed flows and application issues
Strong documentation and communication skills
Ability to work independently with minimal oversight
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with Microsoft Dataverse (tables, relationships, security roles)
Familiarity with SharePoint (low priority)
UI/app design experience
Experience writing test scripts
Knowledge of error handling patterns in Power Automate (try/catch, scopes, run-after logic)
Exposure to Power Platform Admin Center or environment setup
PL-900 or similar Power Platform certification (nice to have)
Work Environment
Fully remote (U.S.-based candidates only)
Supportive and collaborative team environment
Contractor will operate as the primary Power Platform developer
Access to a centralized Power Apps team for standards and guidance
Minimal stakeholder management required
